This charming site forms part of a two-acre Victorian garden in a market town. The existing hedges and walls suggested a traditional design based around ‘garden rooms’, so we created a water garden, orchard, swimming pool and ornamental flower gardens around the house. The walled garden itself is now restored to working order, with a greenhouse, traditional timber-edged beds and gravel paths, cold frames, a fruit cage and a pergola planted with clematis.
