Swimming pools are, by their nature, flat. This woodland garden is anything but. Our challenge was to restore an existing pool and create informal but practical landscaping for its steeply sloping surroundings. Our design included generous steps, a summerhouse and raised stone beds planted for summer interest and perfume. And with plenty of space for chairs and entertaining, it’s now the perfect setting for lazy family afternoons.
