The owners of this beautiful flint-and-brick vicarage, which enjoys a commanding hilltop setting, asked us to create a traditional English country garden, with plenty of plant interest and a real sense of history. A formal rose garden, potager and lawns around the house, which is dramatically framed by brick-and-flint walls, give it a timeless elegance; an informal meadow, pond and woodland walks provide play areas for the clients’ young family.
